– WWE have issued the following press release relating to Brock Lesnar’s return to the ring at the WWE Network Special Event in Tokyo, Japan tomorrow (4th July).


STAMFORD, Conn., July 2, 2015 – The award-winning WWE Network will broadcast Brock Lesnar: The Beast in the East Live from Tokyo, on Saturday, July 4 at 5:30am EST from the iconic sumo stadium, Ryogoku Kokugikan. In his first match since WrestleMania®, WWE Superstar Brock Lesnar will return to action and NXT Champion Kevin Owens™ will defend his title against NXT Superstar Finn Bálor™.

WWE Network, which launched on February 24, 2014, is the fastest-growing digital subscription service with more than 1.3 million subscribers as of March 30, 2015. – According to PWInsider, former AWA and WWE wrestler Brad Rheingans will be travelling with Brock Lesnar to Tokyo, Japan. Paul Heyman is not on the tour with Lesnar.

The whole reason for Lesnar’s visit to Japan was noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter a few weeks ago where it was said that they planned on visiting retired wrestler Masa Saito.
