A number of talented wrestlers from the past that are considered to be legends in the business have tragically passed away this year, including Vader, Bruno Sammartino, Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart, and Nikolai Volkoff. Sadly, it has just been reported by Swedish outlets such as Expressen that former WCW competitor Frank Andersson died at the age of 62 earlier today due to complications from a recent heart surgery. In addition to wrestling in New Japan Pro Wrestling and WCW, Andersson made a name for himself in the 1984 Summer Olympics, where he won a bronze medal in amateur wrestling for Sweden. Andersson retired from the ring in 1996 before returning for matches in Sweden in 2014 and 2015.
